My goodness, what an ordeal I have been through.
Last week I contracted some sort of nasty tropical bacteria that caused nonstop vomiting and diarrhea. It ruined the 2nd half of the holiday. Fortunately, no one else in our party got sick. I had all sorts of visions of moving to WordPress on 2/8, the anniversary of my blogging, but it all had to be put on hold. Today is literally the first day in 5 days I’ve had enough energy to sit up long enough to check email.
I am about 15lb lighter, and have missed a week of work. there is little I can keep down at the moment. It seems to be passing (I am on 2 antibiotics now) but apparently it is going to be a very slow mend.
So I arrive to WordPress, not with a ‘hurrah’ but creeping in on all fours, Gatorade assisted.
I want to thank everyone who left kind words and prayers of support. I have missed checking in on people.
By the way, in my delirium I accidently deleted a bunch of emails sent to me. I don’t know who went them or what they were. So I apologize for the lack of response.
Happy Valentine’s Day. I look forward to Year #2.
