Well Spo-fans, I am going away for a week on holiday.
Someone and I are going with some of the members of Bears of the West on a cruise down the Baja peninsula. It will be my first time to Mexico. We drive to Yuma after work on Friday. On Saturday, we drive to San Diego (provided it has not burned down) and board ship that afternoon.
My goals make me sound like an old man are restorative – I want to eat healthy foods. I want to catch up on sleep. Naps sound attractive. I want to take some yoga classes.While Someone gambles, I want to be on deck watching the horizon and reading books. And I don’t want to get sick!! I had enough of that last February. I taking an economy size bottle of Pepto-Bismal with me.
I don’t know if I will have internet access, so this may be my last entry for a week. Please check in from time to time to see if I ‘got through’.
I will miss you.
