elation.jpgI am back from our trip. I missed my blog-buddies. I plan to ‘check in’ with you all this weekend when all the damn laundry is done I have time. i hope all was well with everyone.

Here are 15 fun facts about the trip.

1. I did not get sick :-)

2. Internet access was $$ so I did not bother. :-(

3. Through prudent eating and daily exercise I actually lost a few pounds. How many people can say that after a week on a cruise ship? :-D

4. The merchants in Cabos are very aggressive assertive.

5. For the first time in my life I got a bit sea sick. It was only a day long. This was a blow to my pride: I have never been sea sick before. :-x

6. We met some people we hope to continue their acquaintance. One lives hardly a mile away from where we live.

7. I’ve learned towels can be shaped into all sorts of animals, not unlike balloon art.

8. Kayaking in the middle of a busy harbor causes anxiety.

9. I purchased a new bum bag and it is already busted.

10. Doing yoga or using an elliptical machine while at sea requires extra skill.

11. We were on a Carnival Cruise. It was my 3rd cruise. While there was nothing ‘wrong’ about it, it ranked 3rd in overall quality.

12. A drunk woman stopped at our dinner table one night and wanted to know why there was only men at our table. I told her we were plumbers on a convention. She bought it. So much for her judgment.

13. Despite being off the boat, I continue to feel ‘the boat rocking’; it is rather annoying.

14. Cruise food was overall good but NOT if you like good oatmeal or a decent cup of tea. :-(

15. so I drank coffee rather.

Tarot of the Month
