“The Christmas Song” – you know the one - ‘Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose…..” This no rhyming ditty is too slow, too cloying and too cute. Besides, Eskimo is not PC; they are called Inuits. So there.
“Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” – in any form but the worst is sung by Judy Garland. It is the most depressing or the lot.
As Someone remarks ‘it makes me want to open a vein.”
“Feliz Navidad” - They play it a lot out here in Arizona, so this one gets a vote because or the number of times a day I hear it.
“It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” – yeah, sure it is.
“The Little Drummer Boy” – its slow, lengthy story makes it “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald’ of the Christmas Carols.
“Jingle Bells’ is getting on my nerves too.
So, what is your least favorite Christmas Carol?
