I bought this fabric a few years ago when rummaging around a fabric store in Honolulu. I am calling it “The Golden Bamboo” shirt. I made it a bit smaller than usual. I think it’s tight/too small, but Someone says it fits better than some of my recent ones.
In Stratford Ontario, there is a closed Chinese restaurant also named “The Golden Bamboo” . I first saw “The Golden Bamboo” when I went to the Stratford Festival in 1982.
It remains closed and unaltered after 30 years.
In a world of constant change, it is a perverse comfort to go back year after year to see it still there – still closed

At least as it looks in this picture, I agree with Someone that it fits very well and that you look very good in it. The golds and ambers are set off beautifully by the blue and the vertical lines are all very flattering. Great shirt!

Love the fabric. How strange that restaurant has remained closed and untouched for 30 years. There was an Italian restaurant in San Diego like that. I wonder if it’s still the same.

It looks great! Do you use a pattern in specific sizes? I am short and it seems that most store bought or online purchased shirts are always too long on me!

Have you seen that commercial where the guy pulls some cord on the side of his shirt and it rolls up to show his wash board stomach. That’s all you need! Looking good.

I’ve made over 50 shirts; this is the latest one. I still think it’s too small for me. Throughout the blog there are scattered postings of my other creations.
