Off to Lost Vegas

There is no performance of ‘The Red Shoes’ this evening, as Urs Truly is traveling today to the far off (and far out) city of Lost Vegas, located in the faraway kingdom of Nevada, where he will be pow-wowing with his fellow wizards on the latest in shrinking heads and pushing pills.

Someone is at the wheel (as is his wont) while I am in the passenger seat (as is my wont). I have ghost-bag in one hand and cellphone in the other. It’s a five hour drive so I’ve downloaded lots of lovely podcasts to entertain us and Someone has his usual travel mug of Diet Cola (he loves it so!) to keep him wide-eyed and awake.

I’ve invited along The Board of Directors Here at Spo-reflections, sending them ahead of us as they need more time to travel: they tend to get lost and make sudden stops to sightsee. They are traveling by Hertz rental car and will be staying at ‘Circus Circus’, where they won’t be stand out as much.* They were heavily bribed not to come anywhere near Caesar’s Palace but they were given carte blanche to raid the all-you-can-eat buffet at Trump Casino.

I am certain to write a few entries on this endeavor, so stay tuned.
