Once again I am up to my ears in work. Every night I have more and more paperwork to do; the weekend looks to be another one of trying to get caught up with notes and forms etc. My colleague who is tempting me with a job offer is both amused and amazed I have ANY homework to do – how on earth does he manage? (perhaps if I took the job I would find out!)
Well, I can dream for the moon but right now I have work to do. So I will not write much but get crackin’.
So I apologize I haven’t been around the blogging world. I haven’t had anything much to say here.
I hope to catch up this weekend.

I don’t like it when you’re overwhelmed. I feel less free to flirt with you because I feel it makes light of your stress and workload. Take the other job so I can flirt freely at will, please.

OK, but you better catch up soon. We’ve already started the gumdrop novel without you.

You do realize that the more you’re away from us, the more we talk about you behind your back…….

Just one weekend of dilly-dally and you’re behind work again?! I think you’re seeing too much patients.

Alright, that’s it. No more new patients. You just got back from PS so why wouldn’t you be behind?

Yes, and we’d like to hear an update on the other job consideration too! (if you feel like sharing, that is…)

Don’t work too hard. Try to remember to take a few breaks, brew some tea, play with Harper.

Be careful about the no homework thing.
Just from getting to know you through your blog and getting to know your work ethic, I think you would still have homework. Not saying anything is wrong with how the collegue does things, just that you seem to cross all Ts and dot all Is and seem to be a very thourough person. Thus I think homework will follow you. It is just the person you are and the way things make you happy and comfotable.

maybe you have a lot of work but you look so young on that picture in your banner, what is your secret?

oh come on now, the look on your face and the smile says something quite different.
I wanted to tell you that I now know 3 people in your profession and what stuns me is how you all do it, how much empathy you have for people to listen to their problems and advise them or offer something to help them go on and face reality.
I suppose you are like the doctor who deals with an illness and by an operation or surgery cures the patient. I am truly amazed by what you are doing.
You certainly belong to a different group of people in the human race or at least have a different understanding of what it means to live and be human.

I thank you for your compliment. Not once today did anyone state their appreciation; I only got calls/complaints why I am not doing more/putting out faster. So your words made my day – thank you! Michael

Sorry to hear you are so swamped with work. We are expecting our first snow storm this weekend. It could be worse. Love the banner picture. You look so outdoorsy and not so doctory. Maybe you should take your work outdoors.

oh no.
Work sucks.
I’m hoping you get a nice long time away from it over the holiday….or, well, a nice short time, if nothing else.
