Once again the earth has ridden the roundabout back to the spot that portends my natal day. It’s the double-nickel occasion – 55 years old! In this year’s video Urpso sits in the inglenook and meditates on this, that, and the other. He also thanks everyone for everything.

Happy Birthday, Michael. Welcome to the age of 55. I’m just six months ahead of you. Looks like ’62 was an excellent year. How do you cope with that heat? It only has to go over 25c here in the UK, and I turn into a grumpy man. The speed limit here in the UK is 70, so I’ve a few years to catch up to that yet.
Hope you had a great day and managed to cool off in the mountains.

Arr, yes, air con. I forgot that in your part of the world just about every building has air con. I only wish builders’ of homes in the UK would start building homes that have air con. Then again, we probably don’t get the heat and humidity as much as some places do. Not being able to get my 8 hours of sleep every night makes me even grumpier. 😴
